# Off-Vehicle DPF Cleaning Planning in Fresno

Prepare a removed-filter request with its part details, condition history and transport requirements.

## Identify the component

Provide the DPF part number and associated engine details if available. Say whether the component is already removed and whether previous damage or repeated plugging has been reported. Let the service provider confirm acceptance.

## Ask what the cleaning price documents

Clarify incoming inspection, the manufacturer-compatible process and the before/after records supplied. Ask how a damaged or rejected filter is charged and whether any replacement needs separate approval.

## Resolve transport and downtime

Confirm packaging instructions with the provider, drop-off or shipping arrangements and the actual turnaround commitment. This site does not offer a fixed turnaround or hold a filter-cleaning facility.

### Put these items in the written scope

| Scope item | Confirm before agreeing |
| --- | --- |
| Acceptance | Exact component and condition checks. |
| Bench service | Process scope and provided records. |
| Transport | Drop-off, shipping, return and confirmed timing. |

## Details to gather

- Part number
- Engine details
- Prior cleaning history
- Transport and return deadline

Get acceptance and rejection terms before sending the filter.

## Questions about this request

### Does this include removing the filter from the truck?

An off-vehicle cleaning price may not. Ask for removal and reinstall to be listed separately.

### Does cleaning prove emissions compliance?

No. Check the separate CARB program and the vehicle’s required compliance records.
