Fleet-maintenance guide

Track the filter and the vehicle separately

For a fleet DPF request, record the vehicle, engine and filter identifiers, prior service and required return date. Separate diagnostic labor, removal, bench cleaning and reinstall. Ask for inspection records and rejection terms. Keep emissions-compliance testing as its own item unless explicitly included.

Define who authorizes extra DPF work

When a removed filter goes to another service facility, clarify transport, turnaround and authorization. Ask how damage or an unserviceable filter will be reported and charged. A bench-cleaning total should not silently become a replacement approval. The Fresno worksheet provides five scope questions for those written terms.
