# Fresno, California project planning

Fresno-area location and where the vehicle or removed filter is held Vehicle year, engine model and DPF part number if available

## Before a visit

For a Fresno vehicle or fleet, keep equipment service and CARB compliance records separate. Give the provider the actual engine and filter information; this website does not determine vehicle compliance. [CARB DPF problem-resolution guidance](https://ww2.arb.ca.gov/resolving-diesel-particulate-filter-or-dpf-related-problems) .

## Confirm the property and scope

Your property ZIP is a starting point, not a promise of coverage. A contractor must confirm the address, access, accepted work and availability before a visit is arranged.

## Prepare an estimate request

Read our [A Fresno DPF service scope checklist](https://fresnodpfcleaning.com/estimate-guide/) and compare the written scope, exclusions and fees.
